Joe Egan

Podiatrist, BSc (Hons) Pod. MChSI.

The Merrion Foot Clinic is owned and run by Mr.Joe Egan.
Joe graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry. He is MChSI registered and HSE Approved. He previously worked in musculoskeletal podiatry in clinics based in Ireland. He has clinical experience in podiatry and biomechanics as part of his undergraduate degree. This included placements in several hospitals in Galway, Dublin & Wicklow.
He has undertaken a dry needling/acupuncture and taping course as part of his continuous development in Podiatry. Joe is married to Martyna, and between their young daughter Jane and an additional member en route in 2020, they are kept always on their toes! A keen runner, Joe understands how important it is to be at your very best.

Aoife Comerford

Podiatrist, BSc (Hons) Pod. MChSI.

Aoife graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2017 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry. She is MChSI registered and HSE Approved. She previously worked in podiatry clinics based in the East of the country. She has clinical experience in podiatry and biomechanics as part of his undergraduate degree. She is a keen walker and enjoyed a good book on a sunny afternoon!

Orla Frawley

Podiatrist, BSc (Hons) Pod. MChSI.

Orla is a podiatrist and qualified from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a BSc (Hons) degree in podiatry. She is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland and is HSE approved. Over the past four years, Orla has gained experience in all aspects of podiatry including routine podiatry care, diabetes care, lower limb biomechanics, gait analysis and management of sport related injuries. Orla has experience in both hospital and private practice settings both nationally and internationally. In 2019, Orla spent time in the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She is also a member of the Special Olympics Fit Feet Campaign and enjoys helping the athletes to perform at their very best. Orla is always keeping active herself, so she knows how important it is to keep moving pain free.

Dana Joyce

Podiatrist, BSc (Hons) Pod. MChSI.

Dana Joyce is a registered podiatrist and a member of The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland (SCPI). She received her BSc(Hons) in Podiatric Medicine from the National University of Ireland, Galway. 


Dana has experience in all areas of podiatric medicine and has worked in both the HSE and private sectors. She has developed excellent skills and knowledge in diabetic, musculoskeletal, vascular, neurological and surgical aspects of podiatry throughout her practice. She is expert in treating all major podiatric complaints, including foot ulcers, lower limb and foot dermatology complaints and minor podiatric surgery. In addition, she is also a qualified physical therapist with an interest in the treatment and management of sports injuries and rehabilitation.
